This Fire Extinguisher Bracket fits the Holden Commodore VL Sedan and utilises the factory seat bolt and also the factory hole in the seat rail. 

Note: VL Wagon needs the VB-VK Bracket

NOTE: When installing this bracket, you will need to press it with your hand to shape it to the floor shape. See video for instructions.

  • 2 x M5 High Tensile Steel Locknuts
  • 2 x M5 High Tensile Steel Hex Bolts
  • 2 x M5 Washers

Install Instructions

Seat bolts are easily cross threaded. Please be careful when installing. Kap Industries takes no responsibility for incorrect install.

1: Remove seat bolt near centre console with 6mm Hex Key

2: Attach extinguisher cage to the bracket

3: Place bracket in position and use factory seat bolt near centre console

4: Using the supplied bolt and nut, attach bracket to factory hole in the seat rail.

5: Press the bracket with your hand into the floor to shape it to the floor.

So far, so good.

I used to keep my fire extinguisher in a box in the rear passenger footwell to stop it from rolling around, which wasn't the most ideal setup, but I didn't want to drill any holes in the interior. With the seat bracket it’s now in an easy-to-access location without any need for drilling!
