Are these Motorsport Australia approved / legal in racing?

Yes these are manufactured to Motorsport Australia Specifications. Schedule H 1:1. HAND-HELD FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: (i) Each hand-held fire extinguisher shall be secured using a metal bracket attached to the automobile with only high tensile bolts or equivalent fasteners and must remain restrained under a deceleration or acceleration of 25G ; and (ii) must be capable of removal by the driver (or crew, where applicable) without the aid of tools. Our brackets are made out Steel and they are supplied with M5 High Tensile Nuts and Bolts and are designed to be attached to the vehicle via the factory High Tensile Factory bolts.
Are these hard to install?

No these are very easy to install. They can be installed with simple hand tools in only minutes. We provide detailed video instructions for most of our brackets too.
Do these cause any damage to the vehicle?

No not at all. These are all designed to be easily installed and easily removed if the vehicle is sold later on.
My model isn't listed, can you make one?

Often, yes. We're always adding new models. Our workshop is based in Somerville, VIC, about 50km from Melbourne's CBD, where we measure the vehicle in person and develop a bracket to suit. Unfortunately we're not able to design new brackets from photos alone, so we do need access to the vehicle to measure it properly.
If you're not based in Victoria, a good option is to see if you know someone with the same model who's nearby and could bring their car in for us to measure. Some customers have organised this through car clubs or owner groups.

Awesome product easily installed great quality highly recommend

DDAS Engineering 2024 Hilux SR

Hole centres, slots and angle are all perfect to position the trigger closest to the centre of the vehicle away from moving feet without anything rubbing on the flooring.

Would have given 5/5 but 1 of 2 rubber anti rattle sleeves to secure the neck was no where to be seen.
A fix for this for future customers could be to simply put a dob of glue inside the sleeve to secure it to the frame.

Despite the above (I’m sure being 1:1000or more) I will definitely be buying more as my fleet grows! 🤙

Would like to see some other products like first aid kits, location stickers (durable UV rated), and possibly some larger well designed brackets for a decent price (wouldn’t expect a need for supplying the larger extinguishers as I’m sure freight could become an issue).
Stamping of the inspection tag to reflect the date of purchase would also be a great idea.

Fitted to two company hiluxs Everything lined up perfectly and was easy to install only thing I had to do was trim a bit off my after market floormats as it would of been hard to remove them to clean with the fire extinguisher there other but that was easy as to do. Would definitely recommend much better then tech screwing into your floor

It’s good, it does the trick. I don’t like how it makes the seat mounts sit up. It slightly changes the aspect of the seat and opens up some
Gaps to get dirt/debris in. It is a good product and does exactly what it says. If it annoys me enough I may remove it.

Mounting bracket.

I was looking for a place to mount/ place a fire extinguisher in a 2024 Rogue ute. As space is limited in the back seat of the ute due to the 48v system. I saw the add for the mounting bracket and decided to give it a go. It arrived promptly and it fitted perfectly, and it doesn't interfere with the leg space. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who intends to carry a fire extinguisher. Well worth the cost.

Bracket fits well easy to install. It does intrude into the foot well a bit so if you have big feet like mine it does reduce space for sure but still good
