  • Are these Motorsport Australia approved / legal in racing?

    Yes these are manufactured to Motorsport Australia Specifications. Schedule H 1:1.  HAND-HELD FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: (i) Each hand-held fire extinguisher shall be secured using a metal bracket attached to the automobile with only high tensile bolts or equivalent fasteners and must remain restrained under a deceleration or acceleration of 25G ; and (ii) must be capable of removal by the driver (or crew, where applicable) without the aid of tools. Our brackets are made out Steel and they are supplied with M5 High Tensile Nuts and Bolts and are designed to be attached to the vehicle via the factory High Tensile Factory bolts. 

  • Are these hard to install?

    No these are very easy to install. They can be installed with simple hand tools in only minutes. We provide detailed video instructions for most of our brackets too.

  • Do these cause any damage to the vehicle?

    No not at all. These are all designed to be easily installed and easily removed if the vehicle is sold later on.

  • My model isn't listed, can you make one?

    Often, yes. We're always adding new models. Our workshop is based in Somerville, VIC, about 50km from Melbourne's CBD, where we measure the vehicle in person and develop a bracket to suit. Unfortunately we're not able to design new brackets from photos alone, so we do need access to the vehicle to measure it properly.

    If you're not based in Victoria, a good option is to see if you know someone with the same model who's nearby and could bring their car in for us to measure. Some customers have organised this through car clubs or owner groups.

    Great Product just needs a little tweaking

    Looks great its clean and not bulky like other competitors only thing is since it sits so flush with the carpet of the car, theres no way to have any other carpets or in my case floor mats. I need to bend the bracket upwards in order for it to fit but completely unique to my case. Just a heads up for other FK8 owners.

    Everytime Vtec kicked in, everyone around me was super impress AND the car would catch on fire a little bit. Not ideal. This bracket keeps an extinguisher handy for those times when you need to show off your mad VTEC!

    Proof a great product doesn't need to be complex :) bolts straight in, I did need to make a slight tweak upwards to the angle of the bracket which was done in place by hand. I found in my 2021 FK8 it was all a bit snug on the carpet and compressing the heater pipe that runs to the rear passengers foot well. No biggie, and probably says more about my OCD than anything else! :D
