  • Are these Motorsport Australia approved / legal in racing?

    Yes these are manufactured to Motorsport Australia Specifications. Schedule H 1:1.  HAND-HELD FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: (i) Each hand-held fire extinguisher shall be secured using a metal bracket attached to the automobile with only high tensile bolts or equivalent fasteners and must remain restrained under a deceleration or acceleration of 25G ; and (ii) must be capable of removal by the driver (or crew, where applicable) without the aid of tools. Our brackets are made out Steel and they are supplied with M5 High Tensile Nuts and Bolts and are designed to be attached to the vehicle via the factory High Tensile Factory bolts. 

  • Are these hard to install?

    No these are very easy to install. They can be installed with simple hand tools in only minutes. We provide detailed video instructions for most of our brackets too.

  • Do these cause any damage to the vehicle?

    No not at all. These are all designed to be easily installed and easily removed if the vehicle is sold later on.

  • My model isn't listed, can you make one?

    Often, yes. We're always adding new models. Our workshop is based in Somerville, VIC, about 50km from Melbourne's CBD, where we measure the vehicle in person and develop a bracket to suit. Unfortunately we're not able to design new brackets from photos alone, so we do need access to the vehicle to measure it properly.

    If you're not based in Victoria, a good option is to see if you know someone with the same model who's nearby and could bring their car in for us to measure. Some customers have organised this through car clubs or owner groups.

I was doing research about the seat rail for the new Z 2024 and found it’s apparently the same size as the 370Z. So I ordered it and see… surprisingly it does fit perfectly on my Z Nismo 😂 I’m really happy with that. The fitment is perfectly bolt-on!

Nissan 370z bracket was super easy to install. Big thanks to Russ for the great video; it allowed me to pre-fit the fire extinguisher clamp to bracket while I was still up in my apartment, counting 6 holes along, as per video. I was also able to take the right tools with me down to car, which was very convenient. Tools used: 14 mm socket, 6" extension, breaker bar (bolts are very tight from factory) and torque wrench (tighten back up to 36 ft/lbs). Tip: washer goes between bracket and bolt head (as per video). It all fit perfect straight away and retained full operation of passenger seat. It's super secure and looks fantastic! Because race car!!!
